About Jennifer:
I’m Jennifer Wolfe, a mom, teacher, and writer from northern California. I love traveling to off-the-grid places like Nicaragua, reading and writing historical fiction, digging in my garden, and baking-as-a-form-of-stress-relief. I’m in my third decade of teaching middle school, and love training educators on the power of digital teaching and learning!
I started mamawolfe in June 2011 to share stories about my life with kids – at home and in the classroom. I’m passionate about helping our children learn, grow, and use their voices. I’m an early adopter of HyperDocs, a Google Certified Teacher, and have been designated as a Teacher For Global Classrooms by the U.S. Dept. of Education.
Some of my reflections have been shared on Real Simple, Huffington Post , Yahoo, and Listen To Your Mother. I’ve been interviewed on podcasts such as Hyperdocs on Air, Teachers On Fire, Teach Better Talk, and am currently writing a book titled “Teaching Audaciously” as well as a historical fiction novel.
