I was thinking today that sometimes as I’m moving around in my day, an image gets stuck in my head that I can’t shake. Sometimes it conjures up a memory, a feeling, or provides an impulse to do something. Often, though, I just see something that I want to capture in my mind for no particular reason-it just speaks to me. I’d like to offer these images up for ‘thought contributions’-as a way to generate a community of ideas together. So….here’s my first ‘Friday Photo’. What does it make you think of? July 25, 2011It makes me think that this is what I needed to look forward to during our horrible winter blasts in the Northeast which took us forever to dig out of. We are fortunate to have some changing of the seasons even though they have been extreme. Such a good idea!

July 24, 2011What a great idea! I wish I could come up with some great memory, but honestly, sunflowers only make me think of Davis and Yolo County and all the sunflower fields. Well, and also Van Gogh’s famous painting, which I love.
