Enfolds and carries us forward

Nurtures flesh, pine, cacti, snow

Brown, white, black, red, gold and green

Hues that tint our lives and soften our differences.

Mother Universe, mother, child

Our roots, common, grounding and affirming

Our dreams, universal, skyward, drifting

Our eyes, focused, watching, hovering

Searching for that entity, that essence

Which like fingers, grasping, touching and trembling

Bonds us to each other, encircling

The crackle of life, the wisdom of Her

The anchor of the Earth

The tug of the moon

The sun, guiding each of us

All made of love
